Fairfield Glade Garden Club Trips are open to Club Members first.

Trip Procedures

Prior to registering for a trip, please review our procedures.

Adhering to these procedures will enable us to continue to bring fun and educational experiences to you.

  • Before signing up for a trip, check your calendar as trips are non-refundable
  • If you can’t make the trip, and want to recover your cost, you will need to find someone to take your place
  • Trips occur regardless of the weather, please keep that in mind when signing up
After signing up for a trip you will receive an email containing all the trip details a few days prior to the departure.  IF you do not find it, please check your spam folder. If it is still not there contact Darlene Petersen at petersendarlene@hotmail.com

This trip is to Galena Garlic in Grimsley, TN where the owners will tell us about growing garlic and the benefits of olive oils and vinegars.  You will also be able to taste the various flavors of oils and vinegars. You will receive a spice packet of your choice.

Following the discussion there will be a group lunch.  Details TBA

Date: July 23, 2025                 Time: 10:30 am                        Type: Driving – 25 people only                Cost: $10 

Historic Fiddlers Grove – Lebanon

Date: Thursday, September 25 – Cost $63 pp (includes roundtrip bus, lunch, personal guided tour) – Min/Max: 25 people

We will step back in time as we stroll through the grove and experience life in a typical early village  We will visit a blacksmith to learn how cooking utensils and farm equipment were made, there is a train museum, church, pioneer cabin and more.

Cheekwood Gardens – Nashville

Date: Wednesday, October 8Cost $60 pp (includes roundtrip bus, personal guided tour of garden, self-guided tour of the mansion – Min/Max: 25 people

This trip is during the garden’s fall festival where we will see their beautiful display of mums, as well as their fall decorations of pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows. We will also visit the mansion owned by the family who founded Maxwell House Coffee.
